TMV & Backflow Testing
Thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and backflow prevention devices play a vital role in the safety of local water systems, particularly for higher-risk commercial and residential properties.
In Queensland, both TMVs and backflow devices require regular testing by a licensed inspector to ensure these essential devices are functioning properly to keep both your property and the wider community safe.
TMV Testing
Thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) regulate water to a safe, consistent temperature to help prevent scalding. They must be tested at least every 12 months, or more often if specified in a site risk assessment, to ensure they continue to operate safely and effectively.
TMV testing
Certified TMV testing to confirm valves are functioning correctly. If issues are found, we’ll complete any required repairs, replacements and retesting and provide the relevant compliance documentation.TMV maintenance and repairs
If your TMV-fed taps are running too hot or too cold, we’ll diagnose the issue and carry out the necessary repairs or adjustments to restore a safe, balanced water temperature.
Backflow Prevention Testing
Backflow prevention devices are a vital safety measure that prevent contaminated water from reentering the mains water supply. Annual testing by a licensed inspector is legally required to ensure your system continues to function effectively and meets the required safety standards.

As a licensed backflow inspector, we will inspect your device, carry out any required repairs and retesting, and submit all necessary documentation to council to keep your property compliant.
